A high level damaging spell, Polar Ray focuses freezing ice and air into a beam, which shoots at one foe, inflicting tremendous cold damage. If this spell causes the target to die, it will shatter into tiny crystalline fragments, effectively destroying its body.

This spell is animated much like that of the same name from Neverwinter Nights 2. It has a similar conjuring animation, complete with sound, as well as the same crystal formation upon impact of the target. The ray also 'sticks' to the caster's hand for a few seconds before dissipating.
Contrary to popular belief, this is NOT an instakill spell. It might do enough damage as to kill weaker characters in a single hit, but never actually kills like Slay Living or Obliterate.
